    Determination of Collections

Collections will be determined if adequately annotated according to Dr. Tulloss' sole judgment.

    Basic policy:

All parties: PLEASE query first. Please send photographs (digital or otherwise). Please annotate material when fresh. Note-taking forms and methodological instructions are available at the Amanita Studies website.

Researchers: Dr. Tulloss suggests that you involve him during the grant writing phase of your research and plan to cover his costs and charges through your grant(s).

Material collected by other than a professional involved in supported research: Please send no more than two collections at one time after having discussed the material with Dr. Tulloss by phone, postal service, or email. Larger shipments should be discussed and agreed upon before they are sent.

Material collected as part of supported research work: Photographs and annotation expected. For less than ten collections, request pricing. For over ten collections from areas with well-known or moderately well-known mycota, the bulk price of $50 per collection will be charged -- unless otherwise negotiated. If an area is extensively under studied and the bulk of the material is expected to require extensive work (multiple days work each for 20% or more of collections), a higher price may be requested.

In case of insufficient funding, contact ret@njcc.com.
