For talks to groups, inquire about fee or honorarium. Talks can be focused on geographical regions, describe recent research, provide a world tour of the genus, combine a travelogue for a region with a view of its Amanita species, etc. The talks make use of a large slide library and a repertoire of anecdotes about amanitas, those that eat them, and those that study and describe them. Groups in relatively close geographic proximity can benefit by arranging a group of events closely spaced in time. This can make it possible for travel costs to be reduced to a manageable level. In recent years, these are some of the organizations to which such talks were presented: Boston Mycological Club, Colorado Mycological Society, Eastern Pennsylvania Mushroom Club, Los Angeles Mycological Society, Mycological Association of Washington, Mycological Society of San Francisco, New Jersey Mycological Association, New York Mycological Society, North American Mycological Association Forays, Northeast Mycological Forays, Santa Cruz Fungus Federation, Sonoma County Mycological Association, Western Pennsylvania Mushroom Club. Talks are presented in English.
